Asia-Pacific sees hiring boom in clinical trial operations machine learning roles

The number of roles in Asia-Pacific made up 10.6% of total machine learning jobs - up from 7.3% in the same quarter last year.

Asia-Pacific was the fastest growing region for machine learning hiring among clinical trial operations industry companies in the three months ending October.

The number of roles in Asia-Pacific made up 10.6 per cent of total machine learning jobs – up from 7.3 per cent in the same quarter last year.

That was followed by Europe, which saw a -0.8 year-on-year percentage point change in machine learning roles.

Which countries are seeing the most growth for machine learning roles in the clinical trial operations industry?

The fastest growing country was India, which saw five per cent of all machine learning job adverts in the three months ending October last year, increasing to 8.9 per cent in the three months ending October this year.

That was followed by Poland (up 2.4 percentage points), Canada (up 1.9), and the United Kingdom (up 0.9).

The top country for machine learning roles in the clinical trial operations industry is the United States which saw 52.6 per cent of all roles in the three months ending October.

Which cities are the biggest hubs for machine learning workers in the clinical trial operations industry?

Some 4.3 per cent of all clinical trial operations industry machine learning roles were advertised in Cambridge (United States) in the three months ending October - more than any other city.

That was followed by Cambridge (United Kingdom) with 4.3 per cent, Boston (United States) with 3.4 per cent, and Warsaw (Poland) with 3.2 per cent.
