Qlucore, a world leader in the development of bioinformatics software, has confirmed that Magnus Fontes is to co-host a workshop on the subject of innovation in the life sciences. The seminar, entitled ‘Life Science Innovation Through Bioinformatics, Systems Biology and Visualisation’, will be held on Wednesday 21 October at 9.30am, at the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby.

Magnus Fontes (PhD) is one of the founders of Qlucore, and also the head of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences at Lund University in Sweden. As part of the event he will be explaining how statistical inference can be achieved through visualisation. Representatives from Intomics, Molegro and CLC Bio will also be highlighting the specific problems that their companies aim to solve, as well as their proposed solutions.

The objective of the half-day workshop is to provide insight into the current potential for innovation in the life sciences through applied bioinformatics, systems biology and visualisation. Registration is free, but compulsory. Click here to see the event listing on Drug Development Technology, where interested parties can click through to register online.
