Notably, future of work was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q4 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of space economy and cyber insurance, according to GlobalData.

Of the top leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry, F. Hoffmann-La Roche had the greatest increase in references for future of work in Q4 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 16 future of work-related sentences in the company's filings - 2% of all sentences - and an increase of 433% in Q4 2023 compared with Q4 2022. Merck’s mentions of future of work dropped by 17% to 5 and BioNTech’s by 43% to 4 and Moderna’s by 100% to 4 and Biogen’s by 25% to 3.
