Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring declined 4.2% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 20.59% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 3.11% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 1.05% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops JBS IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 46.34% in September 2021, and a 35.71% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.51% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 50%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.07% in September 2021, a 40% rise from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 78.05% share, which marked a 33.33% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 17.07%, registering a 40% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 4.88% share and a 71.43% drop over August 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 78.05% share in September 2021, a 33.33% decline over August 2021. Australia featured next with a 17.07% share, up 40% over the previous month. Brazil recorded a 4.88% share, a decline of 71.43% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.66%, down by 46.34% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.71% share, a growth of 85.71% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.63% share, down 50% over August 2021.
