Parexel’s Early Phase Clinical Unit (EPCU) in Berlin, Germany has collaborated with Clinical Trial Center (CTC) North to increase the research capacity for the delivery of Early Phase clinical trials.

CTC North is a full-service contract research organisation (CRO) located at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).

Through this strategic collaboration, the parties will support the high demand for and continuation of Early Phase clinical studies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Enabling the optimal use of resources, the collaboration will provide additional bed capacity for healthy volunteers and patients ensuring continuation of early phase research.

As part of the collaboration, Parexel’s eSource system ClinBase will be rolled out and implemented at CTC North to drive efficiency and collaboration.

Parexel’s Early Phase clinical development presence also includes EPCUs in Baltimore and Los Angeles (USA) and London (UK), providing access to over 300 beds and more than 35 patient populations.

Through this global network, customers will be able to run Phase I trials from multiple locations simultaneously with integrated technology to make real-time decisions.
