It is the latest addition to TrialAssure’s transparency portfolio.
The software is intended for reports and documents and enables users to apply rules that substitute information.

By GlobalDataWith the help of a risk algorithm builder in the software, Anonymize R generates a re-identification risk score and a risk assessment report.
The report generated makes sure the anonymised document meets an acceptable risk threshold.
TrialAssure Product Solutions manager Zach Weingarden said: “When clinical trial data and documents are released to the public or research community, they are often prepared through different channels and at different times, leading to inconsistencies in the anonymisation process.
“These inconsistencies limit the value of the information because they reduce the ability for other researchers to effectively analyse all the available data.
“Anonymize R solves this problem by allowing users to apply the same techniques to all clinical trial outputs, taking a holistic approach that ensures both consistency and efficiency. Aligning with regulatory guidelines, it drives its effectiveness with sophisticated, modern technology, replacing the age-old manual redaction process.”
TrialAssure Anonymize R, through machine learning and artificial intelligence, uses natural language processing to draw out information during the transformation of the text.
The extracted data will be fed into machine learning algorithms.
