Durbin has recently donated 4,500 packs of a long-dated medicine to AmeriCares – one of the largest NGOs in the US. The medicine, worth over $200,000, has been used by AmeriCares as part of its maternal care programme.

AmeriCares is a non-profit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organisation which provides immediate response to emergency medical needs. AmeriCares restores health and saves lives by delivering donated medicines, medical supplies and humanitarian aid to people in need around the world.

Chief executive officer Leslie Morgan comments: “I am always pleased to help and donate medicines to worthy organisations, as we have done so many times in the past.”
