The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 36.62% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada pharma industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Alberta Health Services posted 19 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 72.73% over the previous month, followed by ICON with 10 jobs and a 54.55% drop. Penticton Regional Hospital with 6 IT jobs and McKesson with 6 jobs, recorded an 80% drop and a 20% increase, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded a 33.33% an increase with 4 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.06%, down by 12.5% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 32.58% share, a growth of 7.41% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.24% share, down 50% over May 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.12%, recording a month-on-month an flat growth.
