Switzerland-based company F. Hoffmann-La Roche’s IT hiring increased by 11.6% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.73% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 9.58% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.03% down over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.54% in July 2021, and a 71.7% growth over June 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 11.35% in July 2021, and registered a 23.81% decline. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.8% in July 2021, a 120% rise from June 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at F. Hoffmann-La Roche

North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 47.52% share, which marked a 19.64% growth over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 26.95%, registering a 65.22% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 23.4% share and an 83.33% growth over June 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.42% and a month-on-month an increase of 100%.South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.71%, registering an 80% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 41.84% share in July 2021, an 18% growth over June 2021. India featured next with a 12.77% share, up 1700% over the previous month.Switzerland recorded a 9.93% share, an increase of 366.67% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.23%, up by 30.77% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 44.68% share, a growth of 57.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.09% share, flat growth over June 2021.
