Management Occupations drive pharma industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 13% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 64% year-on-year. Second highest were Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations, which accounted for 11% and drop by 25% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 26% of the new job postings and 66% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in pharma industry accounted for 65% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by UCB with 175, followed by Johnson & Johnson with 54, while the highest increase was at Pfizer at 53%.
