Poland pharma industry registered a 7.3% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 0.65% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 16.86% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 3.82% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland pharma industry in June 2021.

Top five pharma companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 16.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland pharma industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
GlaxoSmithKline posted 23 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 25.81% over the previous month, followed by AstraZeneca with 10 jobs and a 23.08% drop. Takeda Pharmaceutical with 5 IT jobs and CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. with 4 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Bayer recorded a 62.5% decline with 3 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.77%, down by 23.73% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.67% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.56% share, up 100% over May 2021.
