Germany-based company Bayer’s IT hiring declined 8.0% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 10.56% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 6.24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.43% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bayer IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bayer, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.25% in June 2022, and a 47.06% drop over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 28.13% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 28%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.81% in June 2022, a 37.5% drop from May 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Bayer
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 45.31% share, which marked a 3.57% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 34.38%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 20.31% share and a 71.74% drop over May 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 40.63% share in June 2022, a 4% growth over May 2022. US featured next with a 17.19% share, down 71.05% over the previous month. Spain recorded a 10.94% share, an increase of 40% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Bayer IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.56%, down by 55.41% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.56% share, a growth of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 21.88% share, down 41.67% over May 2022.
