The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.25% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.52% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.56% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bayer IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bayer, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.2% in May 2022, and a 10.34% drop over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 17.28% in May 2022, and registered growth of 250%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.64% in May 2022, a 40% rise from April 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 34.57% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 33.33%, registering a 10% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 25.93% share and a 90.91% rise over April 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 6.17% and a month-on-month increase of 150%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 28.4% share in May 2022, an 11.54% decline over April 2022. India featured next with a 23.46% share, up 171.43% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 16.05% share, an increase of 8.33% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Bayer IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.14%, up by 9.8% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.05% share, a growth of 62.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.81% share, flat growth over April 2022.
