The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 3.77% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s pharma industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Alberta Health Services posted 28 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 26.32% over the previous month, followed by F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 6 jobs and a 100% growth. Bausch Health Companies with 6 IT jobs and Mackenzie Health with 6 jobs, recorded a 500% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Apotex recorded a decline of 28.57% with 5 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.97%, down by 16.67% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.54% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.49% share, down 37.5% over May 2022.
