Top five pharma companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 142.16% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s pharma industry during September 2022 over previous month.

Eurofins Scientific posted 66 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 32% over the previous month, followed by Octapharma with 52 jobs and an 188.89% growth. Your World Healthcare with 52 IT jobs and PSI CRO with 45 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 136.84% rise, respectively, while Bausch Health Companies recorded an 113.33% increase with 32 job postings during September 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s pharma industry

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 24.6% share in September 2022, a 69.7% increase over August 2022. Switzerland featured next with a 10.1% share, up 81.58% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 9.37% share, a growth of 33.33% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.52%, up by 44.6% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.2% share, registered a growth of 24.36% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.52% share, up 51.16% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.32%, recording a month-on-month decline of 30.77%.
