France’s pharma industry IT recruitment activity drops 7.1% in March 2022

France’s pharma industry registered a 7.1% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.98% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.23% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 0.23% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in France’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 103.03% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s pharma industry in March 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.67% in March 2022, registering a 266.67% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.21% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 9.09%, registering a 62.5% decline from February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.06%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 133.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s pharma industry during March 2022 over February 2022.

Sanofi posted 11 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 10% over the previous month. PSI CRO with 9 IT jobs and Ramsay Health Care with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% growth, respectively, while Bayer recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during March 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 39.39%, up by 8.33% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 39.39% share, registered an increase of 62.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 21.21% share, up 75% over February 2022.
