Top five pharma companies in North America’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 43.49% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s pharma industry during September 2022 over previous month.

Intermountain Healthcare posted 685 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered an increase of 180.74% over the previous month, followed by Evolent Health with 390 jobs and a 0.76% drop. CVS Health with 173 IT jobs and Bausch Health Companies with 167 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 128.77% rise, respectively, while The Hastings Center recorded a 48.45% decline with 83 job postings during September 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s pharma industry

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 97.34% share in September 2022, a 14.83% increase over August 2022. Canada featured next with a 2.23% share, down 2.33% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 0.43% share, a growth of 23.08% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.25%, up by 24.93% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.35% share, registered a growth of 7.13% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.98% share, down 9.78% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.35%, recording a month-on-month decline of 18.75%.
