Denmark-based company Novo Nordisk’s IT hiring rose 23.5% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.65% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 8.46% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 2.23% growth over the last three-month average share.
Miscellaneous Computer Occupations tops Novo Nordisk IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Novo Nordisk, Miscellaneous Computer Occupations emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.74% in February 2022, and a 50% rise over January 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 38.27% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 18.42%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.58% in February 2022, a 37.5% rise from January 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Novo Nordisk
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 46.91% share, which marked a 13.64% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 41.98%, registering a 47.83% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with an 11.11% share and an 800% rise over January 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 43.21% share in February 2022, a 29.63% growth over January 2022. Denmark featured next with a 41.98% share, up 47.83% over the previous month. US recorded a 9.88% share, an increase of 700% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Novo Nordisk IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.79%, up by 15% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.86% share, a growth of 8.7% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.35% share, up 100% over January 2022.
