Poland’s pharma industry IT recruitment activity drops 1.5% in August 2022

Poland’s pharma industry registered a 1.5% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.65% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.39% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 2.72% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in August 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 41.82% in August 2022, registering a 43.75% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 32.73% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12.73%, registering a 30% decline from July 2022.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 10.91%, down 50% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 32.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during August 2022 over July 2022.

AstraZeneca posted 12 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Bayer with 9 jobs and a 125% growth. Moderna with 7 IT jobs and GSK with 5 jobs, recorded a 75% growth and a 61.54% decrease, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60%, down by 13.16% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.55% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.55% share, up 60% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 10.91%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
