Poland’s pharma industry registered a 17.4% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 11.33% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.35% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 1.8% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42.19% in September 2022, registering a 68.75% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 26.56% share, an increase of 240% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 20.31%, registering a 35% decline from August 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.81%, down 16.67% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 53.85% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Moderna posted 12 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 71.43% over the previous month, followed by AstraZeneca with 10 jobs and a 16.67% drop. GSK with 7 IT jobs and PSI CRO with 6 jobs, recorded a 40% growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while Johnson & Johnson recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.63%, up by 61.54% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.19% share, registered an increase of 83.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with 9.38% share, down 14.29% over August 2022, while Entry Level postings accounted for 6.25%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
