Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in March 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 45.45% in March 2022, a 25.93% drop over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 25% in March 2022, marking a 22.22% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 15.91% in March 2022, a flat growth from February 2022.

PSI CRO posted 9 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month. Hypera with 7 IT jobs and Abt Associates with 6 jobs, recorded a 133.33% rise and a flat growth, respectively.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in South & Central America’s pharma industry
Brazil commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 40.91% share in March 2022, a 35.71% decrease over February 2022. Argentina featured next with an 18.18% share, down 20% over the previous month. Costa Rica recorded an 18.18% share, a drop of 11.11% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.18%, flat growth from February 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.18% share, registered a growth of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.64% share, down 62.5% over February 2022.
