US-based manufacturer of polymer-based delivery system technologies and formulations Skinvisible Inc has agreed to merge with Quoin Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Quoin Pharmaceuticals develops products to address societal issues such as opioid epidemic and military veteran suicide rate.
Quoin shareholders will hold 72.5% and Skinvisible shareholders will hold 27.5% stake in the newly formed firm Quoin Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Avista Capital Partners has agreed to acquire United BioSource Corp (UBC), a company based in the US, from Express Scripts Holding Co for an undisclosed sum.
Also based in the US, UBC is a healthcare company that offers pharmaceutical support services.
The acquired company is a private equity firm that intends to strengthen its footprint in the healthcare sector through the acquisition.
