Following the transaction, Novex Clinical Research will be known as BTC of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and will be the first clinical research site to operate under BTC Network.
Pfizer INC. has completed the acquisition of Bamboo Therapeutics, a clinical-stage gene therapy company.
Pfizer purchased 22% of Bamboo’s fully diluted equity for $43m earlier this year, while acquiring the remaining equity by paying $150m upfront.
Bamboo’s selling shareholders will additionally receive potential milestone payments of up to $495m, therefore bringing the total value of the acquisition to $688m.
