"US-based healthcare service company Owens & Minor has signed a definitive purchase agreement with Mediq to acquire the latter’s wholly owned subsidiary, Byram Healthcare Centers."

The acquisition is expected to be completed by 10 May.

US-based healthcare service company Owens & Minor has signed a definitive purchase agreement with Mediq to acquire the latter’s wholly owned subsidiary, Byram Healthcare Centers.

Also based in the US, the target company is a medical supplies distributor to home patients and home health agencies.

The purchase consideration for the acquisition, which is expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year, is $380m.
