US-based clinical trial software company ProofPilot has partnered with non-profit organisation Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) to advance the development of digital tools for clinical research.
The partnership aims to gather data on physiological signals, mental health characteristics and behaviour traits in order to train a tool for preventing opioid use disorder relapse.
It will support DiMe’s efforts to progress the equitable and safe use of digital methods to enhance lives.
DiMe assistant programme director Candice Taguibao said: “We greatly appreciate the level of engagement and support from the entire ProofPilot team.
“Their dedication to advancing digital health aligns very well with our mission.
“We’re excited to work together to implement patient-centred approaches to clinical research and obtain insights to support the development of a digitally derived tool to help prevent relapse and reduce opioid use disorder deaths.”
