In Latin America, the three worst-hit countries are Peru, Colombia, and Mexico with more than 750,000 cases, 743,000 cases and 684,000 total confirmed cases, respectively.

Spain, France, and the UK are each experiencing a second wave of Covid-19 as new daily cases continue to increase.

Italy is also reporting increasing new daily cases, though far fewer than what was reported in March and April.

Several countries are expected to see a second wave as the weather gets colder and regular ‘flu season begins.
