By Paul Dennis

6 October

Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 35,527,000, with over 1,044,000 deaths and 24,783,000 recoveries.

The US, with over 7,459,000 total confirmed cases and over 210,000 deaths, remains the most affected country in the world.

In contrast, India reports a similar number of over 6,685,000 total confirmed cases, but reports less than half of US deaths.

Across Europe, daily confirmed cases continue to increase, with many regions tightening lockdown restrictions.

In the Middle East, daily confirmed cases are still on the rise.
