On the first weekend of November the annual European ISPOR event took place in Prague. At this year’s congress, the ISPOR awards committee evaluated over 60 podium presentations and over 1,000 poster presentations. Pharmerit’s senior research consultant, Maarten Treur, won the award for the ‘Best Podium Presentation’.

Maarten Treur gave a clear presentation about a new approach to incorporate adherence in a health economic model. The presentation gave a new insight into how combined PK/PD modelling can be applied to address the health economic consequences of adherence losses.

Congratulations to Maarten and to those who have worked with him on the research: Natalie Houwing (Pharmerit NL), Bart Heeg (Pharmerit NL), Marc Botteman (Pharmerit US), Ben van Hout (Pharmerit UK) and Abbott and AARDEX colleagues.

The presentation can be found online at Pharmerit’s website.
