Qlucore, a world leader in the development of bioinformatics software, has announced the dates of its 2010 European Seminar Roadshow. Founded in 2007, Qlucore currently provides powerful data analysis software to leading research organisations and pharmaceutical companies all over the world.
Qlucore has earned a strong reputation within the international scientific community for its Qlucore Omics Explorer software, an easy-to-use application that allows frontline researchers and scientists – the people with the most biological insight – to explore large data sets and to identify important patterns and structures very quickly.
Qlucore is currently inviting any interested parties to attend one of its free European seminars in order to understand how modern researchers can explore their data sets interactively – with up to 100 million data points, in an instant – using just a regular PC.

The 2010 Seminar Roadshow Series begins in London on 21 September, before moving on to Nottingham (22 September), Edinburgh (23 September), Leiden (29 September), Brussels (30 September), Hannover (6 October), Cambridge (14 October), Paris (19 October), Marseille (20 October), Angers (21 October), Frankfurt (27 October), Berlin (28 October), Vienna (9 November), and then Munich (10 November) before finishing in Basel on 11 November.
The Qlucore European Roadshow seminars will demonstrate how Qlucore Omics Explorer can provide researchers with an instant response when they are exploring data taken from sources including gene expression, microRNA, protein array, proteomics, Q-PCR, DNA methylation data, and others. Qlucore Omics Explorer can be used on all types of medium-to-large multivariate datasets, and the software also supports various types of statistical tests.
In addition, attendees will learn how researchers can find groups, structures, variable networks and discriminating variables easily by using Qlucore Omics Explorer, an interactive analysis and 3D visualisation tool. With this approach, the software can be used to support broad research areas including cancer studies, respiratory and CNS research, and biomarker development.
Each seminar will last between one and three hours, depending of the number of presenters. In some locations, seminars will include presentations from Qlucore’s local partners, as well.
