The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.49% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 8.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.24% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops AstraZeneca IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by AstraZeneca, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 42.39% in August 2022, and a 14.71% rise over July 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 27.17% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 32.43%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 15.22% in August 2022, a 54.84% drop from July 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at AstraZeneca
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 41.3% share, which marked a 40.74% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 40.22%, registering a 40.32% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with an 18.48% share and a 60.47% drop over July 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 30.43% share in August 2022, a 44% decline over July 2022. The UK featured next with a 19.57% share, up 5.88% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 13.04% share, an increase of 100% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead AstraZeneca IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.3%, down by 35.79% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.09% share, a decline of 38.46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.61% share, down 12.5% over July 2022.
