France’s pharma industry registered a 0.9% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.69% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.5% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.13% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s pharma industry in July 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 45% in July 2022, registering a 157.14% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20% share, a flat growth over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 17.5%, registering a 133.33% rise from June 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 10%, down 75% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 59.09% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s pharma industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Sanofi posted 21 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 600% over the previous month, followed by Eurofins Scientific with 5 jobs and a 150% growth. Merck with 4 IT jobs and Octapharma with 4 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 75% decrease, respectively, while ICON recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55%, down by 24.14% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.5% share, registered an increase of 400% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.5% share, up 50% over June 2022.
