The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.86% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.11% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.06% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Johnson & Johnson IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Johnson & Johnson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 43.95% in August 2022, and a 4.17% drop over July 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 22.93% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 20%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.83% in August 2022, a 64.71% rise from July 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Johnson & Johnson
North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 67.52% share, which marked a 7.07% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 17.83%, registering a 6.67% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.74% share and a 39.39% drop over July 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.91% and a month-on-month decline of 40%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 61.15% share in August 2022, a 3.23% growth over July 2022. Belgium featured next with a 5.73% share, up 125% over the previous month. India recorded a 4.46% share, a decline of 53.33% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Johnson & Johnson IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 43.31%, down by 20% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 42.68% share, a growth of 1.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.01% share, up 22.22% over July 2022.
