Japan-based company Takeda Pharmaceutical’s IT hiring rose 20.1% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.53% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 4.84% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.16% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Takeda Pharmaceutical IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Takeda Pharmaceutical, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 57.14% in July 2022, and a 109.52% rise over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 23.38% in July 2022, and registered growth of 260%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09% in July 2022, a 75% rise from June 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Takeda Pharmaceutical
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 61.04% share, which marked a 104.35% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 36.36%, registering a 154.55% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.6% share and a 77.78% drop over June 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 36.36% share in July 2022, a 154.55% growth over June 2022. Slovakia featured next with a 35.06% share, up 107.69% over the previous month. Austria recorded a 10.39% share, an increase of 300% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Takeda Pharmaceutical IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.25%, up by 86.36% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.17% share, a growth of 118.18% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.58% share, up 9.09% over June 2022.
