Clinical trial technologies and software supplier ClinOne is set to open its first European office in west London, UK.

The new office will serve as the company’s third office, following ClinOne’s addition of a Philadelphia office in summer last year.

The UK is home to more than 400 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and strategically located in northern Europe. It also enables ClinOne to continue expanding its clinical research team.

The opening of the new London office marks ClinOne’s global footprint expansion. The company has 1,900 institutions across 55 countries that use its clinical trial software solutions.

ClinOne CEO Rob Bohacs said: “We are privileged to have a large number of global pharmaceutical clients across Europe and it’s time we provided even greater support for our current and upcoming clients in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, and Israel.”

In July last year, ClinOne announced its plans to launch a direct-to-patient recruitment platform known as ClinTrialConnect, which will enable patients to navigate clinical trial options from their home or place of work.

Last year, the company unveiled the new Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO), which is intended to ensure zero data loss at clinical trial sites.

ClinOne’s portfolio has been developed to improve clinical trial enrolment, retention and compliance across trial research sites.

More than 3,000 active clinical trials across 43 languages are currently dependent on ClinOne’s set of technologies.
