Clinical trial payment automation solutions provider Greenphire has expanded its global travel solution, ConneX, to include additional in-market support and travel visa fulfilment services.
ConneX is designed to meet global clinical trials retention goals by providing concierge travel services, which deliver a better experience for patients, caregivers, families, and sites. It is used by over 40 pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations (CROs).
The travel solution has recently been enhanced to provide in-market, local language, and time zone travel arrangements for global clinical trials market.
Greenphire CEO Jim Murphy said: “We developed ConneX to eliminate the logistical and financial barriers that often hinder participants from enrolling or staying enrolled in a clinical trial, while also removing the administrative burden of travel arrangement from site staff.
“With its ability to integrate with our ClinCard solution, the most widely adopted participant payment and reimbursement technology, ConneX also provides sponsors and CROs with a comprehensive financial view, for enhanced predictability and cost analysis.”
ConneX can be customised to accommodate the logistical requirements of each participant, providing peace-of-mind to patients and caregivers while away from home.
As part of the solution expansion, Greenphire has launched visa and companion care services in ConneX. This feature enables the company to coordinate the visa securing process of a participant.
ConneX is also enhanced with a companion care offering solution, which allows a qualified companion to travel with a participant attending a clinical trial.
The travel solution is claimed to provide an improved clinical trial experience and added patient convenience and retention, benefitting all stakeholders.
In July last year, CRO Atlantic Research Group announced that it is set to implement Greenphire’s ClinCard and ConneX solutions to enhance the clinical trial experience for patients and sites.
