Its primary goal is to reduce the logistical burden on patients taking part in trials.

With four integrated product capabilities, the Suvoda app also enables patients to complete diaries, reschedule visits using a real-time calendar, view travel itineraries, and receive automated reminders to keep trials on track.

Suvoda CEO Jagath Wanninayake said: “The Suvoda app is unlike any other participant app in the market today. It offers a unique combination of support tools that patients need.

“Knowing that patient dropout is a key risk to any clinical trial, our industry needs to do everything it can to support participants, so they stay enrolled in their study.”

The 2025 CISCRP Perceptions and Insights Study revealed that 63% of global trial subjects consider a smartphone app for data collection as helpful.

Suvoda product management director Elizabeth Morris said: “Patients consistently tell us that logistics are one of the biggest burdens of participation in a clinical trial.

“When people must switch between emails, phone calls, and multiple systems, it adds time and stress. Pulling everything together for patients reduces that friction and gives them one place to complete the tasks that matter.”

The app’s secure sign-in and dashboard allow clinical trial sites to automate notifications for visit reminders, medication, and questionnaires, while study teams manage reimbursements within the same system.

It helps sites and patients stay synchronised, supporting compliance.

Its availability for download on Google Play and the App Store is scheduled for the first week of November, with further enhancements, such as Greenphire Travel features and unified platform logins, planned for early 2026.

The company recently completed its merger under common ownership with Greenphire, which will see the combined entity integrate eCOA, IRT, travel, eConsent, budgeting, and payments functionalities into a single platform.
