Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 17,322,000 with over 673,000 deaths and 10,155,000 recoveries.
The Central and South American region remains a global hotspot for Covid-19, with five countries in the region among the top ten highest daily incident rates globally.
Mexico has consistently reported over 6,500 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 per day.
In addition, Panama is ranked number one in terms of per capita daily incident rates globally.
India has surpassed Brazil in terms of daily incident rates and is now ranked second globally behind the United States.
India reported over 49,000 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 yesterday and overall has over 1,638,000 confirmed cases to date.
