Malvern has announced it will host a live-panel webinar for the discussion of challenges submitted in an online form on the company’s website.

Seasonally dressed, the panel of experts will help with a range of topics from how to get the most value out of a Malvern instrument to discovering more about the company’s latest technologies. Malvern encourage you to take this opportunity to ask its experts. Feedback or success stories are also welcome.

The webinar will take place on 16 December from 10:30-11:30 GMT-05:00 Eatern US and Canada.

Speakers

Speaker Dr. Alan Rawle will be dressed as Father Characterisation. He is from the company’s US office nearest to the North Pole. He has a degree in industrial chemistry and a PhD in catalysis, which was where he first encountered the topic of particle size. Celebrating his 26th year of service and 100th live webinar, Alan is dedicated to assisting customers with their applications and writing, submitting, presenting peer-reviewed papers and application notes.

Speaker Dr. Paul Kippax will be featured as the chief elf correspondent from Malvern UK. A chemist and colloid scientist by background, he first joined Malvern Instruments over 18 years ago as a technical specialist working in the field of acoustics. In 2002, Paul joined the company’s product management team where he used his experience gained working in the pharmaceutical industry to become one of leading minds behind Malvern’s flagship Spraytec and Mastersizer 3000 instruments.

Final speaker Dr. Ronan O’Brien will be presenting as head of reindeer research and development in North Northhampton, US. Ronan leads a team developing biocalorimetry instrumentation and providing engineering support for current product lines. With a PhD in biophysical chemistry and many years of experience in the area of label free interaction analysis, Ronan’s work is widely published, including contributions to a number of educational textbooks.
