Exploristics, the innovative analysis group, is pleased to announce that Anaxsys has received the CE mark for its respiratory rate monitor, respiR8, from the British Standards Institute (BSI). This device provides the continuous monitoring of respiratory rate in post-operative recovery and offers the potential to enhance patient safety and reduce clinical incidents.
Exploristics has worked closely with Anaxsys on this project, providing the statistical and data management support throughout the clinical development of this device. In addition, Exploristics developed novel graphical displays to enable the integrated review of key monitoring data over time. These proved to be extremely valuable in demonstrating the utility of the device.
